Peterborough - Buckhorn Route

This route travels through aboth farmland and forest and passes by several lakes and parkland. Buckhorn, which hosts the buckhorn annual art show the third weekend of August is a small village situate at the junction of Lower Buckhorn and Buckhorn lakes. In Buckhorn you'll find several decent restaurants, a couple of convenience stores but no gas stations. Best to fill up in Bridgenorth or Ennismore if you might need gas en route.

This route is paved entirely and has speed limits of 80 kmh (50mph) for almost the entire route. The segment from Ennismore to Buckhorn is quite winding in spots and quite enjoyable. Use caution on the Lakehurst road at Sandy lake as there are a couple of serious bends and reduced speed limits due to a busy park/public beach. Total Riding Time approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes plus stops.
